Cat & Small Pet Sitting Service in Stamford Bridge, York
FAQs
Worried about leaving your furry friend behind while you're away? We are here to ease your concerns. Check out our handy FAQs for all the information you need about our reliable and loving cat sitting services.
Can we meet first?
Absolutely, we believe that building trust starts with a personal touch. This allows us to get to know you and your pets, understand their routines, and answer any questions you may have.

Are you insured to cat sit?
We hold public liability insurance with Petplan up to £5,000,000. The policy also covers emergency veterinary fees up to £1,250 should your pet take ill while you are away.
Do you care for other animals?
We also care for other small animals such as hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, rabbits and fish.
Are you a cattery or boarding service?
No. Our business is founded on the principles of reducing stress and anxiety for animals. Cats especially are incredibly territorial, and do not cope well in new environments with unfamiliar sounds and smells. It is for this reason I will only visit your animals in your home.
Can my cat go outside?
If you don’t have a cat flap we can let your cat outside - however if your cat has not returned home by the end of the visit, we would have to let them back in at our next appointment
Are you a qualified cat sitter?
We hold qualifications and training in Feline Care, Behaviour and Welfare, and all staff have undertaken courses in pet first aid.
Can you administer medication?
We can administer oral and transdermal medication. We are not veterinary trained to administer injections.
What time are visits? Can I request a specific time?
Most morning visits are between the hours of 5:30 and 10:30am, and evening visits are between 3:30 and 8:30pm. Unfortunately it is not possible to request a specific time, as I conduct my visits in geographical order.
